2 Bodies or sell one to fund a new one?

Hello everyone, I am considering upgrading my camera body to either the Nikon D610 or the Nikon D800. I currently have a Nikon D3200 and I am curious what the general consensus would be about upgrading. I am finding the Nikon D3200 limiting in what I can do, things such as bracketing, Tethered support, full frame capabilities, and other uses the D3200 lacks because of it being a entry-level DSLR.

What do you all suggest about either selling the D3200 to fund a new camera, or keeping the D3200 as a second body?

Thanks :)

My personal philosophy is to keep the old as a backup, but that's just me.  If you want to know, I have NEVER had to pick up the backup but about the time I don't keep it...

When I but a new body the old one becomes the backup and the backup gets sold.

Also, the 2nd body can be used by a 2nd shooter, or as a loaner.  But if funds are really tight for the full frame gear . . .

Are you professional?

If not just sell it. No point having 2 similar bodies. Sell it and get a nice light mirrorless or something that you can easily bring with you everywhere you go.

That's an idea Stealthy, I like your thinking.

Thanks Kelly and DSRay as well, I like your opinions and they will come into play into my decisions.
