I have processed a photo, and I'm trying to export the same processed image into Photoshop, how can this be done?

There are a couple of ways.

1)  You could export the photo, with Lightroom adjustments, to your hard drive (or other place) while in Lightroom library module ... select a file format and give it a unique name.  Then launch Photoshop, choose "open" from the file menu, find the file, hit "open."

2)  How I do it.  (First, while in Lightroom, go to "Preferences" under the Lightroom menu and chose the "External Editing" tab.  Select "Edit in Photoshop__, and complete all the options in that window.  Close Preferences.  That's a one-time thing: you'll never have to do it again.)

With the photo selected in LR*, choose "Edit in" from the "Photo" menu, and select "Edit in Photoshop__."  You will then get a pop-up dialog with the following three options ... choose one:
• Edit a copy with LR adjustments
• Edit a Copy (of the original file)
• Edit Original

Hit "EDIT" and Photoshop will launch, if it isn't already running, and open your file.

(*The "Edit in" menu item is available to you in both the Library and Develop modules of Lightroom)
