Bass Harbour Lighthouse

I got out to take a few photos of a very cool lighthouse in Maine, its near Bar Harbor if you ever go.  I'm relatively pleased, the conditions weren't very good for photos, and the seas were relatively calm, so I couldn't get a shot with crashing waves, however I would have loved to have been able to. Let me know what you think! Thanks!

Nice! Love the BW. It works with the jagged rocks, trees, sky and color or the lighthouse. Great shot!

The B&W one is the best I think. Great shot. The first one has the foreground rocks in focus yet they're not a very interesting subject. The eye wants to go to the lighthouse so that should be in focus I think.

The second and third are nice. I've been there four times in the last three years and have YET to be there on a non rainy day!..
I'll try again in early October though....

Why so serious?

#2 and #3 work the best for me, #1 I like, but the subject matter doesn't work as well as #2 and #3.

Thanks everyone, I love the lighthouse, and I've actually decided now to try and get the majority of the lighthouses in the local area photographed as a small project!

You know I'm on the fence with #1 and #3 as my favorites here

I must say, at first the number one shot you have didn't jump out to me, however after giving it a moment, I really like it.  Then I just can't say no to the black and white one.
