The clicking of the aperture blades was louder than I expected, but the auto focus worked fine, and the clarity of the optics did not disappoint.
I didn't see the spider hiding in this one when I took the shot as I was about 10 ft away.
I have a Soligor 2X Teleconverter that lets you remove the lens element to create an extension tube. I've only used it a few times as I have several lenses with close focus / macro capability and they're just easier to use unless I need to get in very close.
