Country Road

We moved to this area a little over three years ago and the first Fall I came down this road I thought this might make a good shot. On a Saturday about a month ago when the leaves were turning, I grabbed my camera and road over to the site and shot a couple of frames. I had to clean up a little man-made stuff like mail boxes and a fire hydrant.

Nice shot and nice colors... Just seems to be leaning a bit to the right... don't know if that is the slope of the land or it could be just me... either way... I like it... Love the sky too...

Thanks. I think it slopes right slightly. I had a little trouble cropping with no obvious horizon so I keyed off the tree trunks just left of center...still may have missed it a little.

Nice image! I think you're ok level-wise. The fence posts look straight.

Those trees look extremely vertical to me so I will just enjoy a beautiful photograph :judge: :judge: :judge:

The road bed in the right foreground looks horizontal, so the image is level. I think the right-leaning impression is caused by the ground on the left sloping left to right. Moving a couple of steps to th right would lessen the effect, I think. Nice shot.

Makes me want to live there. Good work.
