Had an ice storm a week ago, here are a few shots, think it was around -20 when i took these, my auto focus on the 17-35 actually stopped working and i had to take off my gloves and go to manual

3rd one down is my favorite, the B&W really works well with the scenery

I have to agree with Roman, the black and white one is stunning. You guys got some serious snow up there Bryan!

thanks! I was actually surprised the black and white turned out as good as it did, I tend not too shoot too many snow scenes and so have little chance to experiment.

Beautiful shots, too bad about the damage to the trees

Gonna go against the grain here and list #2 as my favorite. The rest are great scenery shots, but I love the close up of the ice on the branches. I can practically feel the chill in the air. I love the way the sun is positioned in the B&W one. Also I'm assuming the lensflare in the 3rd one is natural? I just really like how you play with the sun in your shots. I'm not the best at that personally.

The B&W is my pick.

The B&W are my favorite as well.

yes Stephanie, the light flares are all natural, its not my favorite way to shoot as there is some unpredictability (not to mention blindness!) as to how many aperture circles or colors might come out in the end result, I tend to use it as a variation when I want a different kind of look

No way, the first blue one is the best IMO
