Who had dealt with Sandisk customer support?

I just got off a chat on some questions that I had with my cards and OMG this tech was a @#$%!  I had to repeat myself 3 to 4 times on some things, and their spelling was off, and just slow.  I wonder if they are outsourcing to people who don't speak English? :toetap:

Welcome to the new globalist society where everything is going to the lowest cost countries. I have never had to call them, and probably never will. I only go to their site if I need to look something up.

Try calling Time Warner or Comcast if you want the arm pit of customer service!

This is what happens when you must have your commodity product at the lowest possible price. Things like customer service take the hit.

Have you had to call Linksys customer support?  ALWAYS in Philippines with someone that doesn't speak English too good.  Very annoying.  I mean no disrespect, but when are you trying to reach support for product you purchased, they should speak English 100%.

To stay competitive and to keep profits as high as possible, many large companies are outsourcing their call centers to Asia's and India.

Not necessarily true.... I can think of any number of expensive products whose manufacturers  have also shifted their call centers overseas...

I didn't say it was the only reason, just one reason.  A short-sighted plan to Increase earnings per share will cause this to happen, too. There are other reasons as well.
