Moons N Such

10 years 2 weeks ago #368443 by Leilanee
Alright, so it's just happened and I'm excruciatingly disappointed that it was completely overcast over here.  Who had a good view of the eclipse?  Did anyone get pics? (And if so, PLEASE post them here!  I want to see!)

Reposted because I suck at posting.  Someone can delete the thread I put in the New Users section lol.

Clear skies here in Arizona.  It looked like any other lunar eclipse to me.  Seen one, seen them all.

Ah, why not take a photo for all us poor souls who haven't seen it? :(
It seems a lot of people who were in the proper viewing range had a cloudy night.  Such a shame.
On a different topic, I watched it live online and they said you can get an idea of how large the shadow of the Earth is by stitching together a time lapse as the moon moves.  That would be cool to see too.

I must have been under a rock, because I'm just learning of it now!

That is okay because it will happen three more times this year. I was also clouded in myself, so no photos for me. :(

It snowed here. No luck :(

Since they're all afraid to offend anyone, I'll have too blame it on there being too many liberals.

It's not the greatest shot, but this is unfortunately the best of my bunch. I really struggled with sharpness with the moon being so dark. Taken from my deck.

There is nothing wrong with those. I wish I had been able to see it. The last Lunar Eclipse shots I got were not even as close color wise, it was not a great eclipse that time.

Your first one really shows the color nicely. Snowed here, maybe the next one.
