What do you use to keep your camera dry when it's raining?

Did any of you buy those camera specific rain sleeve things or what are you using?

The last thing I used to cover my camera was a plastic bag from Target! Got caught by a surprise shower while shooting a high school graduation. Never have owned a rain sleeve. I just carry a Target bag with me now. :-)

My D300 is pretty much weather resistant, well up to a point. But no I never carry, or use a rain coat for it.If it is raining so hard that I am worried about it, then I am not out shooting. I always wear a boonie hat, and have held it over it before when caught out, or put it under my bdu shirt. But if I am going to get soaked I am not shooting.

Sixteen gallon trash bags, for those that don't shop in a Target. That covers camera, lens, speedlight and most of the tripod. That and some gaffers tape and a couple rubber bands and its a go. Also,  I shoot Nikon, and don't worry about the elements.......;)

Why so serious?

My wife got me some Optec rain covers a few years ago

Like Kelly and Effron, I don't have anything to cover my camera. I also shoot Nikon so it is weather proof. I just don't go out when the weather is really bad. Touch wood but I have not been caught in very, very bad weather with my camera...yet.

I got some rain covers, but they are a bit annoying, I don't like fighting with them to go on the camera. But like everyone else said, I tend to not go out in the rain.

+1 stay indoors, or bring an assistant to hold a big golf umbrella.

I have these clear heavy duty plastic bags that I picked up in a big box from Home Depot.  Cheap and durable

I use those for windy days in dusty areas as a portable clean room for changing lenses. I usually have at least one in my pack when I know that will be the case. But for rain no.
