Networking with other photographers

I'm not referring to online, but in person.  Other than Meetup groups, are there any good in person networking groups for photographers that you are aware of?

Anymore no not really. If you happen to have a photography club in your area, then Meetup is about it. Then there is placing an ad on CL as well to try and arrange a group.

Look for a PPA branch in your area. Probably not free, but a start.

Or start your own meetup :-)

Trade shows!  These are one of best places to meet other photographers if you ask me.  Look up WPPI, which is in January and Photo Plus which is last week of October each year.  Two really good shows to attend.

Meetup groups for me, that's the only one I know of.

I think you got them all, other than the ones that are already listed, perhaps art shows and conferences.

You know what I have noticed is that when you are out and about with your camera.  Other photographers will approach you often to strike up a conversation.
