Yes, but sparingly.  Plus depends on how close I am to my model.

Wouldn't this be more of a landscape lens? Unless you are shooting on a crop sensor camera, then this would be a 52mm, right?

It wouldn't be my 1st or 2nd lens pick, I go with something that was at least 50mm to 200mm for portraits.

Traditionally No, I would not use such a wide angle to use for portraiture. However, artistically speaking,  rules are made to be broken, and I never say Never. I think it al depends on what your goals aiming for. Dare to be different and think outside the box.

Yes, I would and do, but only for a few 'different' shots.

If you want to get funky for specialist reasons, quirky, illustrative stuff, then yes, but you still have to be extremely careful about what you are doing and really nail it, moving just a few millimetres in any direction can make a real difference to making or breaking the shot.

No I would use my 10.5 Fisheye for that in your face effect. But if I was in the business of doing portraits I would use my 105.
