I believe they just banned it here. Too many wide-awake drunks.

Just curious how many of here have 'day jobs' or are able to pursue photography as a stand alone profession? For me my 'day job' is Mommy which leaves time to edit during nap time or rest time and plan out my shooting schedule around kid's schedules. I am pretty lucky, I can even bring my eldest with me around the garden to pick a subject.

I am an office manager for a commercial real estate company in Cincinnati, OH. I am hoping that I can quit next year after my youngest graduates high school and devote my time to what I love, photography!

Laid off-Electronics assembly and soldering of circuit boards, Use to build and test printers for Hewlett Packard (HP) then for a contract manufacturer. It was the owner of that company that got me interested in photography.

My "day job" seems to be spending much of the day looking for a "real JOB"!
After being basically disabled and unable to work for several years (waiting on back surgery and the VA bureaucracy) much of the working world has passed me by.
My "night job" is working on mockups of web designs, graphic designs, editing photos, etc. so I can entice someone into hiring me...

I retired as an IT manager just over two years ago and never looked back. It has given me time to learn more about photography and paint a bit, after the home and cottage renovations ;)
I may do a bit of consulting work this fall and winter but not full time.

I work as a housekeeper for a hotel. Very boring and I pray I can find something else but it pays the bills :) and leaves me spare time for photography so I can not complain.

I've worked for Subaru of America for the last 23 years as a warehouse supervisor but I also travel to our other facilities when they need help. I was up in Jersey December before last & in Denver 3 months prior to that...Might be up in Portland come this October...I'll be old enough to retire come November (but don't really have enough $$$ in my 401K/pension for my liking)

Would this be the cliche newbie question to ask? I went back a few pages and didn't see the question asked.

I'm a part time mechanic and take night courses on business. Photography is a hobby
