Do you breathe on your lens then wipe it clean with your shirt?

Do you get a little too crazy with creative filters when you process your images?

What about chimping? Are you one of "those photographers" that can't stop looking at the photos you just took?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, you might have a bad photography habit that makes other photographers cringe.

In the video above by DigitalRev TV, the guys explore these and other bad photography habits and point out why these habits need to stop now.

Not only do these things make you look a little silly, but they can also have a negative impact on the quality of your photos and the durability of your gear.

Granted, much of the video is done for entertainment purposes and is presented in a tongue-and-cheek manner, but despite that, the boys at DigitalRev TV make a very good point.

And that point is this - photography is hard enough as it is, so why make it harder on yourself by committing these sins against photography?

Instead of just going out to shoot, try learning some technique first.

If you aren't sure what lens is best to use, read a few tutorials and watch a few videos to find out.

Likewise, if you're not getting the results you want with your camera, don't just keep blindly shooting. Instead, learn the fundamentals of composition, lighting, and camera settings, that way you get better results - and are less likely to develop bad photography habits.

At any rate, if you need a good laugh and want to learn what not to do when you take photos, check out the complete video above.
