Another newbie question - Photography Idea's?

13 years 8 months ago #1024 by Freshstart
Perhaps my vision is just in-experienced, and time behind the camera is the only solution. But it can't hurt to ask anyway. How do you find inspiration when you go out and find things to photograph?

Feel free to post idea's of things to photograph, or how to unleash that creative eye?

for me when I am out with my camera, I just look around and if something catches my eye then I take a picture of it!

I get my inspiration driving around - and then come back with the camera when the lighting is good.

What do you like to photograph most of the time? Animals, landscape, flowers, people?

All good idea's. I just need to train myself to look for those photo opportunities. Thanks!

Everything but people. Old buildings, moutains, vista's, flowers, trees and animals. I found this place about 20 miles from home in the national forest - I was parked in my truck waiting for someone to come and drop off my daughter. It was around dusk - next thing I know I'm surrounded by about 20 deer and a few elks. I'm definitely going back to that place soon.

I'm more or less a leisure photographer. I take landscape pictures and portraits.
