I like 2, 3 and 4. The first and last is just too jarring for my taste. If the person was in a different position that could be nice. That's just my opinion though and you know what they day about those.

It was kind of the point to make it uncomfortable, that is my style sometimes

Nice set. I like the contrast of the second shot.

Please leave a space every after photo.

I was afraid the writing on the chalkboard looked weird. Is there a way to fix that?

I think you can still edit it. But it's no big deal. There's is always a next time. Well done for this set. Nicely rendered. I like the look of the man in the portrait. So mysterious.

I loved the first one. Takes me back in time. Looks like film the way it was shot.

Two was a little dark. The window was going to be over exposed no matter what you did unless you masked it in post, so I'd lighten the room some.

The third lacked interest for me, but was well composed I think.

I liked the almost-sepia tone fourth. The subject was cool but the ceiling made the cart blend in some.

Only critiquing because you asked. I find photos like this far more interesting than color in most scenarios. Something about them I can't explain. I need to shoot more B&W. You took the mundane and displayed it to be something extraordinary.

first photo: Thanks!

second: the window was meant to be over exposed

third photo: it’s supposed to be minimalistic and uncomfortablr

fourth photo: the ceiling and the trains are meant to “suck you in” to the subject.

Then perfect. I still like the photos. I'm learning as I go and I find learning from others a great way to expand. For that, thank you for sharing these and the explanation of them helps me as well.

Second one down has some creep and mystery to it.  This one is my favorite and I believe tells the best story out of your shots.
