Canon RF 24-70mm f/2.8 and RF 28-70mm f/2

I had an opportunity to shoot with both the Canon RF 24-70mm f/2.8 and the RF 28-70mm f/2 over the weekend.  First let me say the size difference between these lenses is huge!  Now with that said, the AF on both of these lenses is nuts.  Absolutely marvelous!!   The colors and IS of the 24-70mm is something amazing.  I was surprised considering the price that the 28-70mm didn't have IS though.  But colors were remarkable.  28-70mm was incredibly sharp as well.

I have the 28-70mm and agree, it's a beautiful lens.  A bit on the heavy side, but amazing lens.  I would like to see Canon add stabilization to the Mark II version when that comes out.

Can you even find a 28-70mm right now?  I have a good friend who has been wanting that lens for some time, he hasn't gotten as it was such a tough one to find.  But he has the 24-70 and likes that lens as well, but says this lens is much more everyday carry friendly because of the weight and IBIS.

28-70mm is a work of art, I agree Mark II version would be nice to see some IBIS built in

No, and I'm looking used too.  MPB and KEH
