Wide Angle Lens?

I am looking at getting a wide angle lens (10mm or so) for my Canon. Does anyone have a suggestions? Price is a factor of course ;)
Thank you!

Tonika 11-16 is a very good lens.

What camera do you have though. IF it's a FF camera it won't work so well on it.

I have a T2i so that should work since its a crop frame. Thank you!

The very thrifty might like the price on the Sigma 10-20 or Tokina 12-24 better.

I've heard it works at 16mm, although "I don't need no stikin' batteries" would let my try it on his camera

Options that I looked at at the time were:
Tokina 11-16 - limited range, expensive, f2.8
Tokina 12-24 - wider range, not as wide 11mm vs 12mm
Canon 10-22 - variable aperture, expensive, apparently not as good build quality as the Tokina

I chose the Tokina 11-16 in the end, with the limited range you may have to switch lenses more often that the other choices, however I have no complaints with the Tokina so far.

I'll write something here when....ooooh shiney

My mum got the 11-16 when she was in HK last. It's pretty nice IMHO. Not as good as the Nikon 14-24, but costs a lot less.

It's a good sharp lens, probably more like a prime than anything else (not much zoom range).
