Crossbird film & lab processing

Wondered if anyone has used Rollei Crossbird film? I got a roll to try since it sounded intriguing. Supposedly you can do E6 processing or have it done C-41 for a cross-processed look. I see that they also make Redbird, Nightbird, Blackbird ... (redscale, low light, high contrast). Anyone have any particular labs they use? - not sure if the local lab handles these type films although they do 120 as well as 35mm.

I didn't even know film was still sold. Where did buy that kind of film?

Got the Rollei film from Freestyle. Drugstores in my area still carry some basic Kodak and Fuji, camera stores in the area carry more variety of color films in various speeds and B&W films. The big stores like B&H and Adorama carry a good variety of 35 and 120mm as well as specialty films.

Doesn't seem like anyone else has tried the Crossbird etc. so it'll be an experiment I suppose to see how it turns out.

Don't hold your breath!! The camera store that I go to sends film out to their lab in another city so it takes a couple of weeks to get back. Might be interesting with the fall colors to see what I get.
