Link does not work for me...

You will not be judged as a photographer by the pictures you take, but by the pictures you show.

Honestly, looks horrible. It's cool it's a year long exposure, but it's honestly throw away.

Wonder how they set it up to not be disturbed for that long.

I think it looks cool as hell. The texture, the muted colors, the sun trails. It's friggin awesome.

I thought he said he mounted it to the side of some structure.

I agree, lol. I wouldn't hang it on my wall but it would be a cool piece in one of those artsy fartsy galleries.

I love the sky in the image. The skyline and water being kind of dark and soft focus seems a bit drab or something I think by comparison. Interesting technique and story to it.

I tried some pinhole shots and what I tried on photo paper got me nothing, even after a few hours' exposure; just tried it since I'd been doing lumen prints. But since then I read that the ISO of photo paper is something ridiculously low like 3! - so I'd already figured out I'd need a really long exposure or instead of using the process for sun prints, run it thru some developer.

I wondered about the image deteriorating during the scan. I don't know if professional scanners would do a really slow scan that would pass way more light thru the image than a home printer, because I've scanned my sun prints and it didn't affect the image at all. Made me wonder if he used any fixer or stop bath maybe to stop the chemical process so it wouldn't continue to react to light. Good find Karl, thanks for posting.
