Turn around time to deliver photos to client?

I've not had any complaints as I usually can always get clients their photos to them within 2 weeks after wedding or photo shoot. Granted I put in some insane hours to make this possible. I know other photographers who quote the client 4 to 6 weeks.

I'm just curious what is average. So please post up your delivery time.

It really depends on how busy I am, most cases I'm getting the photos back to client in 2 weeks, 3 weeks latest.

About 2 to 3 weeks for me, but then again it depends on how busy I am. :agree:

My delivery time is quoted at 4-6 weeks and if I can get it done sooner the client is happier, which is a bonus.

It depends on the job. Some clients have deadlines and others don't. For private portrait sessions (family, kids, engagement, seniors, etc...) I try to have things ready for the client within 2 weeks. For weddings my contracts say 4 months, but I try to deliver within 2 months. It takes me 20 - 30 hours to edit and process a wedding, so during the busier parts of the season I can get backed up pretty quickly.

I hope I'm not out of line. But would it be okay to ask to include an average amount of photos you are submitting with your turn around time?
Thanks, and sorry if I overstepped my boundries.
