Haida M10 drop in filter system?

4 years 3 months ago #673538 by Jeffrey Russo
I was originally looking at getting the Formatt Hitech filter set up and now was reading up on these Haida M10 filters.  These seem much different in that they drop into a bracket.  But are there any disadvantages to a platform like this?

The holder way is used by many makers.

Last November, I did a review for a European publisher where
I had to be on time for the christmas edition… lot of stress!
That specific system was not among them.

General observations were…
— newer systems come with crazy cool features
— whatever the holders, the filters quality is important
— I liked those with magnets
— take the time to explore a few solutions because once you
commit to a system…
— dropping filters may be expensive so look at the ergonomic
features as well
— price range vary a lot and, as often, too cheap is no solution
— may vary much in terms of weight and sturdiness… some even
have quite elegant wooden parts
— the ease of use with CP is crucial
