Let's Get Crazy!

This thread is suggesting serious fun. Imagine the dream
lens you would like to see, to have… and forget all about
price and psychics, weight and size, just dream!

I'll start.

I dream of a 300 ~ 800 mm, make it a ~ 1000 mm ƒ8 ƒ4.
I don't care about IS of any kind. Weather sealed and it
should be black of course.

The implied weight of the monster begs for an anti-gravity
system of some kind as going in the wild with a crane may
prove to be most unpractical! :P

Just be patient, dreams will fill your head
soon enough until they get close to weight
and size nightmares like mine! :P

Well  NikonShooter ,
you asked for it : 4 mm – 35 mm zoom fish-eye / wide ,  with both curvilinear and rectilinear distortion possiblities,  plus tilt/shift simultaneously possible on both axes ,  image-stabilisation,  built-in ND4x and Polarisers in turret slot , to cover medium format sensor .

Oh man… what's in the pipe you're smoking?

I see you are at the opposite focal lengths range
than mine which is absolutely legitimate! :P

Everyone has a right to dream. However, some made it in practice.
However, I don't dream such things as my pocket does not allow
me such dreams.

But… but… but… that's the very definition of dream!
