An Orange Sulphur Butterfly

Had to chase after one for a while as it refused to sit still but I managed to get a half-decent shot...

That's awesome. I find photographing butterflies very difficult so well done on this...

I love macro photography and yours is no exception. I used the link to your flickr and stated going through there. How are you able to get some close to the butterflies? The bee in flight is incredible as well! I'm looking at the specs you used and taking notes.

Up till recently, I was using an older, manual focus, 105 F2.8 macro lens from the 1980's on a Nikon D7100. Recently though, Ive been using my Olympus OMD EM1ii with an AF Olympus 60mm F2.8 macro. In either case, I use a judicious amount of cropping although more on the Oly. One has to move slowly up to the subject matter and not allow a shadow to fall on the subject, otherwise, they are gone... I
I've done my share of chasing insects and have my share of rejects as well.

Love the pastel colors on the wings. The pink edge is very special. Nicely done.
