Thanks, its hard to keep her still. she loves posing. I tried to focus a spot and then waited till she moved into it. using film, its hard, to see if i got it right or not. But practice i am.

Good on you for going out there and trying again and then returning here for a critique, it shows a great willingness to advance your skills, All three photos are ok to me, the 1st a little overexposed but a nice candid, the 2nd a great choice to go low and use the fence as a back drop better exposure too and the third is a fun photo and has already been said a bit soft and out of focus, but yes children do move fast, credit to you. :thumbsup: :thumbsup: :thumbsup:

I like all the images - my personal favourite is the first - for me it works, but photography is about personal taste, no 'right or wrong' just guidelines to follow.

Good for you - perseverance but remember to enjoy your hobby.

Thanks everyone, went out and priced some DSLR, today. So hopping will be digital soon. I love taking photos, and havent picked up a camera seriously for about ...forever so have to remember how to read details again. So love all the TIPS. Thanks Guys

Thanks for that, I havent any software as yet, film tends to make the photos grainy looking. so appreciate showing me . It makes her eyes pop.
