Hi Everyone,
I am new here and I am trying to find my way around.
I need suggestions on watermark programs. I want to show my pictures but I want to watermark them first.
Thanks,
Cris

I use Digimarc. (it's an add on filter in my CS5) I like that I can embed the inability to download with Digimarc.

I also made a brush with the name of my business as the brush. I usually use the brush on a separate layer so I can lower the opacity to whatever I am using it for, whether it be the signature or watermark. (Making the brush is free & works just fine. You just can't restrict downloading. So I usually will upload a smaller file with a lower resolution to deter that.)

Welcome Crisb, I too use fast stone no issues with it especially as it is free, but am very interested in the digimarc that Maria is using.
hope you are enjoying the site.

On your profile page you can control who can download your photos - you can set it for no one, friends, or everyone to be able to access them.

Here is the link for the website for Digimarc. There is a fee for the pro edition but it is well worth it. The free usage that is limited in CS5 only allows you to embed the year on your photo

I forgot to add that if you are working in Photoshop a limited version of Digimarc is found under the filter tab. (Filter - Digimarc -) then you can pick to either read watermark or embed watermark. Check your version as I'm not sure when they added this feature.

I am still learning about watermarks. Is it better to use read or embeded watermarks for enternet use.
