Oh, hush. Fibber.

So tired I sold the D800 and D800e I had before and got a real camera. :thx:

Yes, yes, but by your own admission a lot had to do with your current focus on video and cross-manufacturer color matching issues. (Which I totally agree with, BTW.) Or am I misremembering?

I agree Nikon do suck with video.

Without being bias tell me how the D800 is better than the A7r which is lighter, has the same sensor as the D800e and can shoot at a faster framerate.  Also the A7r has a superior electronic viewfinder (I mean it's better than an OVF) because it shows the exact exposure and can display a real time histogram.  PLUS it can shoot AF Zeiss. Game, set and checkmate!

Good AF.  Queens gambit.

AF is irrelevant if the manufacturer makes everything have a green tint.

I'll counter with "superior video" (especially the A7s) 4K anyone?

This is so funny. I was watching a video last night on FStoppers, showing two of the founders (?) critiquing images on the fly. At one point one of them talked about how all of his assistants that shoot Canon produce images with a green tint. I had to listen to it twice to be sure I accurately heard his statement.

I can only guess that they are perhaps overcompensating in PP for the tendency toward red?

Anyhoo....

Q: why beat up Nikon over the green tint when the sensors come from the same manufacturer as the A7R? Or is that only a Canon vs. non-Canon issue?
