Moving on from D500

I love my D500 but it is a beast. I find myself not bringing it with me because it is so heavy. Has anyone moved onto a mirrorless for this reason? Do you regret it?

You'll wallet will hate you in the start, but your body will thank you in long haul.  Do you have much gear you can sell?  Mirrorless is clearly the future, at least right now.  There are some amazing options at much smaller footprints.   Highly recommend the jump.

I went to Olympus mirrorless a while back ( I have 3 bodies now). I still have my Nikon gear though.. With Nikon discontinuing DSLRs, the smart move would be to mirrorless.

The Fuji X-T4 seems like a worthy mirrorless CMOS alternative to me. And Fuji makes some nice fast glass too.

Yeah, I hear you.  Made this transition a few years back.  Mirror has more options, best thing to do is just rip the bandaid off and jump into mirrorless.  Keep in mind you can use your existing glass with an adapter.

Fuji is supposed to be on par with Leica aren't they?
