I currently have a Sony Cybershot DSC-HX5V. So I'm thinking about getting a new camera. I have been looking at this Olympus E-620 and found it on sale for just over $400.00 and I was hoping to get some feedback from users who own this. How do you like the camera? Is it easy to use, if you haven't used a DSLR before is this a good one and easy to learn?

My Olympus E-620 was my first DSLR.... and it is very easy, you will fall in love with the built in art work on the camera. For your first DSLR its a good buy.

I have an Olympus 840 Stylus digital Point & shoot for when I don't want to lug around my DSLR. If I'm not mistaken, the Oly DSLR's have a 2X crop factor which makes a 50mm lens have the apparent angle of view that a 100mm lens has on a full frame digital or a film camera

I owned an Oly 510 for 2 years & recently upgraded to the 620. It is a wonderful camera. It is easy to use if you merely use the Auto setting but to maximize its features, learn the basics. The manual is good & the FAQ on the Oly site is useful too. Have fun! JimB

If landscape photography is huge for you, wide angle selection for the Olys is a little thin. Otherwise, a fun camera.

Yes you can get a good deal on an E620 nowadays.I'm thinking of getting a second one.
It's a few years old by now but it has everything that you want on it.
Its light and smal, but no problem for my large hands. You have a flipout screen, live view, IS and one of the best dust reduction system. JPEG performance is tops. Zuiko kit lenses are also very good.
In other words go for it man.
Here are 2 pictures I took yesterday.
