Whats your opinion on vignetting in post ?

For awhile most of my photos I enjoyed the look of some vignetting that I would add in post.  Now I'm finding myself on the fence and just not sure.  Whats your view on vignetting in post?

I did it in the darkroom, I do it on most images in post. Even professionals do not notice it. Like HDR, when I notice it, it puts me off. But even that is not a rule. In the odd situation a strong vignetting looks good.

I love it to a degree. There are different ways to do it and some are ways that I think make a photo look tacky. I vignette almost all of my photos but I try to make it more subtle looking

I photograph mostly scenes, rather than people.  So it is rare that I use vignetting.  But, depending on the subject and mood, it can be a real benefit.

Well my view is that it is over used, and over done on many photos I see. But with that said some shots can benefit from it if done correctly. It like any other tool needs to be used correctly.

In moderation, and it depends on the photo

I like vignettes in my landscapes and some portraits, like someone else stated, it depends on the photo

Well, my answer is pretty much singing the same tune many of you have already sang here.  I like, but in moderation and it depends on the photo. I don't like heavy vignetting.

I use it to an extent on every image. It helps center the focus of the image. If it's something you notice right off, it wasn't done correctly. Ansel Adams always did it. That doesn't mean much but a lot of people like his images.
