Shutterbug a good magazine for education?

I'm going to subscribe to just one magazine and want to get one that is regarded as the best for articles and tips on photography.  I have bought a couple issues, and the magazine seems to be on top of it.  However just want to check before I commit to a full 12 or 24 month subscription.

When I decided I was going to get back in photography a couple weeks ago, this was the first magazine I ordered.  This and Outdoor Photographer.

True, however the magazines in UK are like $50 each!  Well not that high, but 2 to 3X as pricey.

You should try buying things in Australia.

I'm guessing they are more $$?

My data may be old, but anything printed in the US and transported there seemed to be significantly more expensive, yes.

I read shutterbug online. My only subscription is to the previously mentioned Outdoor Photographer. It seems there is a competition within the USPS as who can most thoroughly destroy a magazine, which makes it tough for me to receive print issues.....

Why so serious?

It's a good magazine and considering the cost is what $12.97 for a year?  A good value.

btw, I buy UK photo magazines locally for twelve to fifteen bucks a pop. Its pricey but there a a couple that pick a theme and cover it thoroughly. I would subscribe to two or three, but again the USPS likes to trash magazines......

It's the only magazine I get today.  Great issue this month.

Nope, I'll pass.  I'm sure prices are sky high there
