I'm sure that most of you have seen the photograph featuring the recent assassination of the Russian Ambassador to Turkey, but I just came across this interview getting the perspective of the photographer and found it pretty interesting. Do you think capturing that moment was brave? Or absolutely insane?

That image left me in awe. I personally think that that photographer might have gone temporarily insane in the heat of the moment. I can't understand why anyone would willingly put themselves in actual danger for a photograph.

Brave or insane? Probably a little bit of both.

He was not insane, or brave, he was most likely just looking through his lens, and therefore detached from the actual event. I know I would have been. When I am looking through the view finder what is happening is kind of abstract. I would have shot it. Also there were others there too, so it is not as if he would have been the only target. That and Mr Allah cracker wanted to have his deed recorded, or he would have done it before the event, he did it to send a message.
