Armstrong Canyon

A recent trip to Utah found me and the family wandering in Natural Bridges National Monument.  Cool place if you have never been.  Also the first dark sky park in the World, so if the night is clear there are some amazing star photos to be made.  This trip is was cloudy every single night... of course.  We walked under Owachomo Bridge and to the bottom of Armstrong Canyon where there were small pools of water left from a rain a day or two before.   Found a pool protected from the breeze and had to lay down on a ledge and hold the camera as far down as I could reach to take this one.  Turned out fairly nice I think.

If you haven't been to Southeast Utah, you should go, it is stunningly beautiful in a very rugged way.  There is also no way a camera and lens combination can capture the shear scale of the landscapes out there.

Hey cool shot.  Not sure on the technique aspect but getting a stronger reflection would have been amazing.  Great show either way
