Smallest tripod to fit in backpack??
This Q came up recently - do a search and you might find it
My response earlier was to look for a "Table-Top" tripod (I use a Manfrotto)
Some brands can be bought for $20, they collapse to about 8-9 inches / 25-28 cm, and usually have a small ball head for the camera to sit on. When opened they can be used on car bonnet / brick walls / the swivel of the ball head means that you can hold the tripod onto a vertical wall but have the camera horizontal .... there are heaps of possibilities
