Sony Adds to A-Mount Digital Camera Line with Introduction of New SLT-A37
Simultaneous with the announcement of its new NEX-F3 interchangeable lens system camera, Sony has also introduced the SLT-A37 digital camera. As Sony’s latest entry-level DSLR, the Sony A37 utilizes the company’s Translucent Mirror Technology. The new Sony A37 DSLR includes a 2.7”, 144,000-dot LCD screen that provides a 100-percent field of view and tilt-angle capabilities. The A37 records 1080/60i and 24p Full-HD video, and expands the ISO sensitivity range to 100–16,000.
Sony has also announced a new A-mount lens for the A37 and its other DSLRs. The 18–135mm f/3.5–5.6 lens has an 8x zoom range and features silent auto-focus and Direct Manual Focus.
