The “Cowboy” Pro
This guy must have thought he was some kind of cowboy with a quick drawing hand. The only problem is he’s got butterfingers. Nevertheless, he likes to call himself a pro and make demonstrations. Watch what happens. Warning! All those of you who have a love for premium glass should look away.

The backward dive
Dear wedding photographers, please watch this video over and over again. It can happen to you and we don’t want another army of people crying over wasted gear. Small tragedies like these have the potential to ruin a business, especially if it’s in its first couple of years. So please, mind your back!

Russian affairs
Here’s one from overseas, a situation I would personally try to avoid as much as possible. It seems like after a certain point, they couldn’t care less about equipment in Russia. Hopefully, competition isn’t this fierce in your area and things don’t escalade as quickly as they did with these guys.

Light my fi…wait what?!
This is another one you should watch carefully and learn from. Situations like this could cause a lot more damage and personal harm. This was a happy ending. Just like the guy from video no. 2, it is an example of what can happen when you don’t use your peripheral vision and lose yourself entirely in the viewfinder. Use one eye for the shots, and the other to prevent accidents, especially in crowded places.

Wet in 3, 2, and 1!
To be fair, this could happen to a lot of wedding photographers. Placing too many people on a peer or any other place that has the potential to crash is a risky decision. In this particular case, it ended with laughter, but there’s no guarantee for that. Make your photo shoots as safe as possible.

The flash goes the other way!
If you can’t figure that out for yourself, take a look at the manual. ‘Nuff said.

The timeless forgotten lens cap
This is by far a rookie mistake and you certainly wouldn’t expect to see it at this level. But, that goes to show even seasoned pros can make beginner mistakes. This guy has no idea what’s happening, but he bounces back pretty quickly.
