Antarctica is a place of rare beauty, and that alone is a reason powerful enough to make you want to get there. The icy wonderland has always been a major attraction for landscape photographers. But it's not just the raw, cold beauty that makes you want to see it. It’s the diversity of wildlife that gets nature and animal lovers packing. This rugged land is home to vast penguin colonies, seals and albatross.

We've put together a selection of awesome shots taken in Antarctica by Ted Cheeseman and other pro photographers, during his expeditions. This is a way to get a glimpse of what it’s like in this fascinating, cold world. Ted and his family have been organizing ecology safaris to Antarctica and other amazing locations on the planet for many years. These pictures will probably get you interested, so visit their website to see some more fantastic wildlife and nature shots from all over the world. Enjoy!
