2. The primary purpose of the Retro design is to provide photojournalists, other professionals and travel photographers with full-feature, but low-profile, bags that make shooting more versatile and protect equipment from the weather and prying eyes.
3. Available in black and pinestone, the Retro 20 has room for 1 professional-grade DSLR (body only) in the front pocket and 2 to 4 lenses. As the tallest bag in the Series, the Retro 20 has space for a camera and 70–200 f2.8 lens combination.

The Retro 30 can accommodate various gear configurations: 1 pro-size DSLR with a standard zoom lens attached and 1 to 3 additional lenses, including a 70–200 f2.8; 2 pro-size DSLRs (bodies only) in the front pockets and 2 to 4 lenses in the main compartment, including a 70–200 f2.8; and 1 pro-size DSLR with 70–200 f2.8 attached, facing sideways and 1 or 2 additional lenses.
5. The outer dimensions of the Retro 20 are 13” W x 12.5” H x 7” D (33 x 31.7 x 17.8cm). Its inner dimensions are 12” W x 11.75” H x 6” D (30.5 x 29.8 x 15.2cm). The Retro 20 shoulder bag weighs 3.2 lbs (1.5kg).

12. Think Tank emphasizes security with the Retro 20 and 30, as they include what the company calls “sound silencers” under the flap of the main compartment. These “silencers” are used to cover the hook-and-loop fasteners, eliminating the noticeable sound they make. Other people are less likely to know you are opening the Retro 20 or 30 in either a busy airport or while shooting in a chaotic photojournalism environment.
13. You’ll also find a clear business-card pocket beneath the main flap.
14. The short carrying handle can be removed, so it doesn’t snag on other luggage or becomes an easy method to snatch the bag from your shoulder.
15. The Retro 20 and 30 camera bags also include a seam-sealed rain cover that completely protects your equipment, but leaves the carrying handle and shoulder strap accessible.
