2. You’ll notice the excellence of the Sony A65 as soon as you hold it in your hands. Where you grip the body has exceptional ergonomics, with a natural shaping of the rubber surface for your hand and a large thumb grip on the rear of the camera.
3. Sony made sure the A65 included the company’s newly engineered OLED electronic viewfinder (EVF), with a 2.359-million dot resolution. Its primary improvement over older LCD electronic viewfinders is chromatic aberrations don’t appear at the pixel level. This is because it is unnecessary for RGB to be seen at each pixel level. The OLED EVF on the Sony A65 is automatically available as soon as the camera’s eye-sensor detects your eye at the viewfinder.

Even in RAW mode, the camera still captures 10fps, but for just 14 frames. Shutter response and focusing operate at very high speeds compared to many competitors. Shutter response is less than 0.05 seconds. Shutter response at wide focus is 0.1 and 0.15 for full zoom focus.
7. The Alpha A65 DSLR is also built with Sony’s Translucent Mirror Technology. With a stationary mirror, the AF system is always working and not forced to pause, as it would in cameras with flipping mirrors.
8. The various imaging technologies that Sony has built into the Alpha A65 results in an image quality every bit as good as the larger Alpha A77, the top of Sony’s Alpha line. As to be expected in a camera at this price point, the A65 produces a moderate amount of noise to ISO 400, and becomes more apparent as the sensitivity is pushed.
