Guitar gods don’t mess with a good thing, and neither does the X4 Eric Tripod. It retains the popular built-in, detachable monopod and the rapid removable/reversible, twin section center column. The 9.7-ounce (264g) monopod collapses to 14 inches (360mm) and extends to a maximum of 4.7 feet (1,440mm).

3 Legged Thing has upgraded the standard ballast hook from plastic to magnesium alloy and it now includes a carabineer loop.

Although the X4 Eric is not specifically designed to be a travel tripod, it comes with a hard carrying case that is enhanced with a tool pocket.

Other new features of 3 Legged Thing’s X4 Eric Tripod are a wider mounting plate equipped with a grub screw and an optional spirit level.
