One of the hobbies I've taken up during this pandemic is fine art printing, but I've realized that finding a fine art printer is a lot harder than I originally thought it might be.

I'm coming across either one of two problems. The first is that professional prints with a fine art printer cost a ridiculous amount of money. The second is that there are not enough customization options.

If you're looking for photo printing for professional photographers, this article is going to walk you through a few basic questions you should always ask about fine art printing.

Different Media

The first question you should ask about your fine art printing is whether this particular printer offers different media. While you may be looking for a canvas print today, you could be looking for a metal print tomorrow.

I personally use a different fine art printing studio for most of my mediums, but that's because I've been in the industry for well over a decade and have formed relationships with a lot of these studios. It would definitely be easier to be able to get all of my fine art printing done at the same spot.

ArtBeat Studios, for instance, has traditional canvas prints, metal prints, acrylic prints, or paper prints available for your fine art printing needs.

Importantly, ArtBeat Studios only creates high-quality prints regardless of the medium. I should know...I’ve ordered all manner of prints on every kind of media that ArtBeat Studios offers (including the metal print I’m holding in the image above). And you know what the common thread has been between all those different kinds of prints? Impeccable quality!

In fact, ArtBeat Studios won my recent $100 secret shopper metal print shootout due in large part to the incredible quality of the print I ordered.

Custom Sizes

One of the main problems about fine art printing that I outlined in the intro of this article is that a lot of studios don't have enough customization options.

I personally believe this is one of the more egregious problems with fine art printing studios because a lot of my clients can be really picky, and if the fine art printing studio can't fit my needs I certainly will not be able to fit the needs of my clients.

This is where ArtBeat Studios comes in. Instead of having traditional sizes that photographers can choose from during the checkout process, ArtBeat Studios allows you to choose exactly what size you need for all of your fine art printing needs because they custom make every piece.

I personally believe it doesn't make sense to charge photographers extra money for something that a studio is already doing, so the fact that ArtBeat Studios does this free of charge makes me much more likely to be a repeat customer.

Fast and reliable shipping

Another question you need to ask of any fine art printing Studio you're thinking of working with is:  what does your shipping look like?

This is especially true during this pandemic because clients are fewer and farther between and missing out on additional income because of a shipping mishap would be incredibly disappointing.

ArtBeat Studios participates in White Label Dropshipping to prevent any problems. What this means is that your customers will receive their prints directly from ArtBeat Studios in packaging that is free of any logos, so you don't need to worry about repackaging your prints.

This is obviously a huge time-saver, but there’s another benefit as well. Since ArtBeat Studios has built a reputation as a top-flight printer, you don’t have to stress and worry about what your drop-shipped prints will look like. Instead, you can simply order what you need, charge your client, and rest easy knowing ArtBeat Studios has your back!
