Drone as an Assistant?

Never really considered purchasing a drone before. However, I recently came across this article that showcased a photographer using a drone as a way of holding a light source. I really thought the results were neat and was wondering if anyone here has ever tried anything similar to what's being shown in this article.

I don't own a drone, but what this article shows off definitely seems like a neat concept. I'd be pretty nervous about sending any expensive equipment up in the air, though, so I can't say that I'd give this a shot myself.

Haven't seen or heard of something like this before, but I'm not surprised. They have drones doing just about anything these days.
