Photo Walk Yesterday

Went out for a photo walk yesterday with a fellow photographer with the intent of doing some B&W's / Split Tones. I don't normally do B&W as I'm not a huge fan of it, but I'm always wanting to try something new / challenging. Please leave me your thoughts / feedback.

Number 1 doesn't do anything for me. Maybe it looks better large than on here. I like number 2 but I would do a square crop and crop the top and bottom equally. I think it would be a stronger image. On number 3, I like toning images but just a little. I think this one would look better with the toning saturation taken all the way down to 15 to 25% of that shown here. I would also look at bumping the contrast slightly. Those are my preferences and it doesn't make them right or wrong. They are just the way I see things.

Thanks for the comments. I agree with your comment about #1. I've seen stuff like this before, and always thought that it looked cool, so figured I'd try. Good thought about the second being a square crop. I'll have to check it out. I've never really played with cross posting, so really kind of new to me. I did it, and personally liked the way it turned out. I guess with this stuff, as you mentioned, it's a preference thing.

The second one is my fave. I really like the last one as well. I don't know what the first one is.
