I must admit the title pulled me in on this one and I was utterly impressed.   To bad that these sort of shots aren't possible any more with all the drone laws.  :(

First off, illegal where? There's no information about laws in any of those locations.

In the US there are limits regarding people and cities, but getting a UAV license is certainly possible. And permission is possible, too.

As for the assertion that "art is in danger of being choked by privacy laws", again, there's no information here to support that. Nor do any of these seem to encroach on anyone's privacy.

Nice photos. Really idiotic prose.
