There is such slight distortion ... that either image is fine to my eye.  If I had to pick, then #2, as the distortion is so minimal that it really hasn't any affect upon the viewer (optical drama).  Consequently, to my eye, if it hasn't any or just minimal effect upon the viewer ... than why have it. 

(I could have easily made an argument the other way.)

There are photographs everywhere. It is the call of photographers to see and capture those images.

Thanks for commenting. I do see a subtle, but real difference, which does have an effect, to my eye, and I would choose to keep it. But, as you say, I could easily argue the opposite...:cheer:

I prefer the first shot too. The distortion made it more dramatic because of the movement it is creating. Good job John!
