Wide-Angle Lens for APS-C

3 months 2 weeks ago #686923 by Pakro
Hello guys

I'm a holder of a Canon APSC body and I'd like to purchase a quality wide angle lens for landscape photography with good optical performance and CA as low as possible for a reasonable price. I have a few lenses in mind that could work for me but not sure which performs best so I need some advice from those who might have experience with them.

I currently own Canon 10-18mm f/4.5-5.6 IS STM and would like to replace it with something better such as

The new Tamron 10-24mm f/3.5-4.5 Di II VC HLD

The new Tokina atx-i 11-16mm f/2.8 CF or the old AT-X 116 PRO DX-II

Sigma 8-16mm f/4.5-5.6 DC HSM

Sigma 10-20mm f/3.5 EX DC HSM

Image stabilization would be an advantage but isn't necessary, AutoFocus is a must and constant aperture would be great like offered by Sigma and Tokina but optical quality is above all.

If you know of a better lens that could outperform these within a budget of 600$ please let me know, thanks!

So the chat wasn't much of a help. I was told what I already knew and I am not going to invest in the Canon 11-24mm f4L lens, that's an overkill. So I just wanna know what's the best third party wide angle lens for APS-C camera. Tokina, Tamron or Sigma? Damn..

There are plenty of reviews and opinions on the web. Google for them and research the choices.
