Yup.... Very good advice. I might throw in that you can set up a perch near feeders for smaller birds. I cut down a small tree & put it in a Christmas tree stand & placed it near my feeders. That way you can get some shots of them without a feeder in the frame....

Noise may be due to several issues. You need to upload an image along with the EXIF ino for us to look at to determine a work around...
