Hi my name is Jinx. And i'm just starting out in Photography. Right now all I have is my phone camera. But soon I will be getting a normal camera. I was wondering which is the best and cheapest camera to start out with?  I take photos of everything mostly Wildlife/Nature and Landscapes. I like doing Abstract and Black/White. Please if you could give me some suggestions as to what camera I should start out with. Thank you.

Hello Jinx and welcome. Every camera is a normal camera. You can use your phone and take great shots or you can spend thousands and take lousy shots. I do not know enough to make recommendations but hopefully someone here will be able to give you some good advice.

Hi ya Jinx.  I'm just a smidge north of you and new to photography talk, but I saw your post and wanted to say *HI*.  As for you question... I have seen fantastic photos with every kind of camera out there.  The two most common seem to be Canon and Nikon.  Canon is better priced.  I use Nikon.  I started out with a Kodak point and shoot and had great results with that as well.  As the others have said, It's not the camera that makes the shot, it's the photographer.  Good Luck.. let me know what  ya end up with!

Hello up there lol... Yeah i was debating one which of those 2 i wanted to buy. I do have a Kodak Easy Share p/s. But it doesnt take as good as pictures as my phone camera does. I use my phone camera now til i purchase a new camera in a few months. I would love to go up there in Elk country when i get my new camera and take photos. I heard its beautiful. I sure will let you know what i do end up getting.
