Correct way of saying "Nikon"

I saw an article many years ago with a top Nikon executive and he was asked about the two versions and he said, yes they did recognize both ways. I guess it's kind of like the difference in Jesus and whether you are hispanic or english. That's the way I see it.

Since when do executives know about how to pronounce things?! They may officially recognize both ways, but that's because (as I said before) they don't want to offend Americans, so being the polite people they are, the Japanese just let you run your party the way you want.

Hispicnics and English get it wrong, it's יָהשֻׁוָה English is a variant of the Greek. So is the spanish. It's just pronounced closer to the Greek than the English.

I blame Ameicans. :patriot:

BTW I really don't care if you guys pronounce it the wrong way.

Also, I like a good internet debate, but ultimately we all know it doesn't really matter. Let's just enjoy the verbal jousting. :duel:

I did it. I admit I did it. I also verbally corrupt the name of Nissan and Nephewsan. Making fun of Japanese names is a great American past time. Harley Davidson bikers laugh at jokes by saying Yamahahaha. What would life be worth if you couldn't mock someone else and the Japanese - well they just seem to ask for it. :patriot:
