Lumix DMC-LZ20 fault?

3 months 5 days ago #688390 by jay0707
I currently have a Panasonic Lumix DMC-LZ20 bridge camera, recently my photos have started coming out very washed out with circles/swirls all over the image. I tried factory reset on the camera. Video footage is fine, just photos. The screen is fine, as soon as you view the image you get it. Even when viewing on a pc too. SD card has also been swapped in case that was the issue. What could be wrong with the camera? I have attached an example. Thanks in advance
Make: Panasonic
Model: DMC-LZ20
ISO: 100
Aperture: f/8.9
Shutter speed: 1/1000 sec

G'day Jay

Qwik answer ... dunno mate
Long answer ... it is more strange when you say 'video is okay' - as it appears to be a moire pattern across the image so I wonder whether the anti-alias filter has come away from the sensor > ie: a factory repair task

Sorry that I can't be more helpful
