:agree: #2 and 3 are super, .... :judge:

I find on #6, the shadow very distracting....makes it look like a snap shot

Warning these could burn up the site servers ....:woohoo:
I have very little experience with these type of photo shoot but I like the #3 and #4 the most
in last one the shadow is making some distraction,,:

I agree but there is a slightly distracting background in 3. Little PP will fix that right up.

Dunno about that SN. The frame on the wall does help define the hair profile. Without it the hair becomes a black blob.

the background in 1 is way too messy and a bad crop cutting her legs like that isnt a good look,

In number 2 their is a drainpipe growing out of the male models head things like this should be spotted through the viewfinder or you could clone it out,

number 3 is great love the eye contact and the lighting,

number 4 is pretty good just the messy bed annoys me,

number 5 the background is poor the green on the left is distracting and the shelving looks wrong behind the model, number 5 her toes have disappeared looks wierd and a light or a reflector should have been used on the right to lose those shadows.

My wife was looking at the pics and she was wondering what happened to the models toes in # 6, everyones eyes go to something different, I didn't notice it until she pointed it out.
I have to agree with Photobod about the crop in #1, rule I follow is never cut a limb at a joint.

Hey all thanks for the critques and comments.
In #6 the model was kneeling on a cabinet, that wasn't pushed all the way to the wall, that's where her toes disappeared too in the photo.
pic #1 thanks for pointing that out to me about cropping of the limbs
pic#2 i'll try to clone out the pipe picture

i know I have a way to go still, and i do appreciate your critques

I agree that #2 and #3 are the best shots here. The rest don't make me think "portraits" They look more like snapshots of lifestyle photos. Careful with the cropping and Perhaps less light spill would help with the "snapshot" look. The last photo, I don't care for at all. The toes disappearing from view, and overall pose doesn't look flattering! Thanks for sharing and Keep shooting!

No1: that black box on the shelf is very distracting but I like the rest of it.

No2: great barring the rug on the floor spoils it just the wooden floor would be so much better.

No3 not enough seperation of the hair from the couch but I like the pose.

No4: great shot but it is very soft, although that works for me.
